When I was a child, I wanted to listen many music, but Music Tapes or CDs ware expensive for me. One day I found some Tapes labeled “James Brown” or “David Bowie” or “Jazz Piano vol.1” or “Brazilian & Cuban”… at a supermarket. I forgot their prices but maybe it was 500 yen or 1000 yen or ,it was very reasonable price.
Although their covers or jackets were so terrible, just tiny pictures of flowers or foreign country cities or landscapes of nature.., but I thought this is very good for me.
Then I started to buy 1000 tapes and CDs, every kind of music. And I begun to rent Records and CDs at rental video/CD shops at the same time.
1000 yen tapes and CDs were my teacher of music, and still now I love 1000 yen Tapes.
